Growing up in the tranquil town of Wulfen-Barkenberg, there was always sports and music since early childhood.
At the age of 12 I learned to play the saxophone and quickly gained my first concert experiences in a school band and the local Jazz Big Band. We even went on small "tours" to twinned towns in France, England and Poland.
In addition to competitive gymnastics and volleyball, I became a certified instructor in recreational and popular sports at the age of 16.
After graduating from high school I began studying sports at the Cologne Sports University as well as working in a sports store and as a bartender. After a few months I joined a successful cover band as a saxophone player and background singer. Shortly after joining the band, I took over the management and booking of the band, gaining valuable insight into the music business, both in terms of working on and off stage.
At some point, the balance between studies and music had shifted so strongly in the direction of music that I decided to stop studying and focus on the music business profession by doing an apprenticeship at a concert agency.
I had to jump in at the deep end when I was sent on tour with exclusive artist Purple Schulz on my 3rd day of employment, being involved in all relevant processes and tasks.
I completed my apprenticeship in a record time of 1.5 years (normally it takes up to 3).
This laid the foundation for working self-employed in the business.
And here we are, a good 20 years later.
